Well, my boys, the Mavs have proved they are no “one-loss” wonder, by blowing the LA Clippers out of the building last night, with Dirk Nowitzki (high ankle sprain), Eddie Najera (knee surgery), Walt Williams (elbow) and Adrian Griffin (dislocated shoulder) missing. How cool is that! I hope they will continue the trend and blow the Spurs tonight, so they can prove once and for all that they are here to stay, regardless of that certain extremely painful loss (I am not linking to any stories talking about it – I am trying to block it out of memory) last Friday. Of course, last night’s win was all the more sweet, since both the Sacramento Kings and the Lakers lost last night – Woo Hoo! I know the ride is going to end some time, but I will enjoy it as long as I can.
I was unemployed and looking for a job when I started the blog, but I have been working full-time for over a month now, so you can see the slippage in the quantity of posts, though I hope the quality is still the same. I am not making excuses, I am not going to stop blogging – it is as much for my personal satisfaction as it to help out with my frustrations about not being able to argue with the extremely non-political person in my life. I guess, that was I wanted to say – I am going to still post everyday, just not as much as I used to before. Also, I find it really hard to get worked up about things any more, since everything has been pretty much in the same state for so long…..
